Relying on these principles and spurred by My eHome® multiplatform technology, VIOTECH imagined and designed a User Interface aimed to offer to Users the mot advanced Service Access: The V-GUI®.

Inspired by the will to make this access UNIQUE (hence customized), FAMILIAR (hence ergonomy-focused) and COMPREHENSIVE (hence modular built), the V-GUI® is the ultimate gate to multimedia Services & Content consumption, storage, sharing, changes and even redistribution.

BROWSE

Through the V-GUI®, the User is able to initiate several simultaneous functionalities proposed.

Independently of the terminal used, the screen is split into 3 panels:

  • The Display Panel: Main panel of the interface, where the service/API launched is wide open to the User. It can be opened in standalone mode;
  • The Navigation Panel: On top of the Display Panel and retractable, it displays the range of services/APIs accessible;
  • The Preview Panel: Left to the Display Panel, it shows a preview of launched services/APIs, of which number is only limited by the size of the terminal screen. Retractable, its closure does not stop the services/APIs in play.

SHARE

Any event, any content, any moment: the V-GUI® allows Users to share all social-related aspect of their time planning through a single click, towards all network:
  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • FlickR
  • Emails
  • Very Own (ViO) Community.
When combined to the My eHome® solution, Users are able to narrow down their sharing grid to the network level they wish to target, thus selecting the impact & feedback expectations.

Search & display travel pictures, play a DVD or create a playlist of favorite album: The V-GUI® is the ultimate assistant to the best multimedia experience ever.

Relying on the advanced Tag-based system, the User will be able to create all types of collections and classifications imaginable.

Thanks to the VISE® (V-GUI® Search Engine), WebTV as well as online shared videos (Youtube, Daily Motion, Vimeo, etc.) are easily accessible, without the need of a Web browser.
All major audio and video distribution formats are accessible, from Mpeg4 to Xvid.
